New Venture Will Accelerate the Hunt for Bipolar Disorder Genes 
The search for the genetic underpinnings of bipolar disorder is accelerating, with a new joint project at the Univ. of Michigan and Johns Hopkins U. Funded by a donor who lost her husband to suicide after a long struggle with bipolar, the project will combine existing DNA repositories and seek more genetic samples from patients and their families.
